VamPower

AgriBact®– VamPower is a biofertilizer developed from Vessicular Arbuscular Mycorrhizae (VAM) fungi. VAM plays crucial role in mobilizing essential nutrients such as phosphorus, potassium and other plant nutrients. Moreover, it also help plants by facilitating certain micronutrients such as zinc, calcium, iron, magnesium and manganese. VAM also improves water movement in the rhizosphere and plant system which increases tolerance in draught stress. Secondary metabolites produced by VAM, provides protection from most of soil borne pathogens. In this way this product acts in multiple ways for the better plant growth.

  • VAM fungi grows near root zone and develops complex network of mycelia.
  • These mycelia filaments acts as a pseudo root branches and help plant roots to absorb nutrients, minerals and water.
  • This results elevated root exudates in the rhizosphere which is used as feed by these heterotrophic fungi.
  • This symbiotic association benefits plants by improving tolerance for drought, cold, and other abiotic stresses.      

This product can be used as soil application by mixing recommended quantity of AgriBact – VamPower with field soil or organic fertilizer which is expected to have high organic matter. This mixture can be distributed in the soil at the time of ploughing after first irrigation. This product will perform better when applied along with other biofertilizers.

  • Soil treatment: 4 kg VAM-Power granules per acre.
  • Seed/root dip treatment: 5 gm or 20 ml VAM-Power powder per kilogram of seeds (with sufficient water).
  • Drip application: 200 gm or 1 liter per acre through drip irrigation.

Granules: 4 kg and 10 kg

Powder: 100 gm and 200 gm

Liquid: 1 Liter
